Golden Valley News

Congratulations to Golden Valley Alumnus Noah Oppenheimer.  We would like to recognize his accomplishment as a national Merit Scholar.  He is a senior at Sacramento Waldorf School and was in Ms. Smith's class grades 1-8.
Here are a few words from Ms. Smith about Noah:

Our friends at the Blue Oak Charter School in Chico plan to open again next week. We have been in touch with them about ways in which Golden Valley can support the Butte County community and the charter Waldorf families specifically. CCSA has sent out an update on how our state organization has supported the recovery. As charter leaders, we are nimble and resourceful, and charters are going to open more quickly and closer to home than the district schools. These are heartwarming pictures of determined teachers and administrators facing complete devastation of their schools. Here is a truly inspiring story of CCSA efforts and the local charters coming together to open the schools.
