Meet Carol Evans from the central office. She has been part of the Golden Valley community since its inception, in 1999. She is a parent of two Golden Valley Alumni. She began working for Golden Valley in 2008 and is the current Business Systems Representative. She has had many roles over the past 19 years.
She was part of Parent Association (which is now called Parent Circle at River and Orchard Schools), a festival coordinator, an integral member in the creation of the Golden VAlley Educational Foundation, and a Charter Council member (which is now called the Board of Trustees). Her daughter Allie was part of the first K-8th grade graduating class of Golden Valley and has her signature wood burned on the back of the original Golden Valley Charter School sign. This sign is archived at the River School in the garden. Carol has many talents and hobbies. She enjoys water color painting and getting together with her book group, which consists of many of the original pioneering parents from Golden Valley’s inception in 1999. We are thankful to have Carol part of Golden Valley Charter Schools.
