Brittnie Carr has been a Golden Valley community member since 2009. She has served in many capacities here at Golden Valley Charter Schools. She has been part of the Parent Circle and volunteered with festivals. She has helped in the classrooms and chaperoned on many field trips. She began working at Golden Valley in 2016.
Brittnie has worked with diverse communities and families as a family’s recruiter for an international language program. She was previously self-employed and created and made cloth training underwear for children and special needs individuals. Brittnie currently holds 2 AA degrees. One in Social and Behavioral Science and one in Math and Science. She also has an AS degree in General Science.
Brittnie believes all parents should have a school choice for their child and charter schools provide that option. She loves that Waldorf education meets children right where they are developmentally; And that the Waldorf curriculum teaches and nurtures the mind, heart and the body of the individual.
Brittnie is passionate about holistic medicine and practices. She uses many alternative healing methods with her own family and hopes to one day create a wellness center which encompasses traditional and alternative medicines.
