A postcard exchange project, Waldorf100, celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Waldorf global educational impulse. This movement connects more than 1,100 Steiner/Waldorf schools around the world. Waldorf100 is celebrating this festive occasion by sending every school pre-addressed blank postcards for students to design. Over this past year, the central office has received handfuls of these postcards from many Waldorf schools worldwide. Golden Valley Charter School students individually designed an art piece on a postcard telling a story of themselves, school, and/or counrty.
The student made postcards were sent to local and international Waldorf Schools. We have already received over one hundred fifty postcards from the various waldorf schools. Our schools are proud to be a part of this million-fold Waldorf greeting from around the globe. If you would like to see some of the art work from amazing students and connect more about the Waldorf100 movement, please stop by the central office to see the wall display, visit the Waldorf100 website, and see the amazing video. Below are photos of the art work.
